The Caxton Street Seafood and Wine Festival has specifically picked their Top Ten New Festival Tastes for 2011 that includes Thai Char Grilled Baby Octopus, Salmon a La Casablanca, XXXX Summer Bright Lager, Traditional Fish and Chips, Thai Caramelized Prawns, Woodfired Seafood Pizza, Asian Prawn and Scallop Platter, Queensland Deluxe Seafood Platter and the ever popular Caxton Thai Seafood Skewers. Guests at our Brisbane hotels can sample these scrumptious delicacies from the Street Master Chefs that will also be on hand at the food stall that will be set up for the festival.
Food and wine lovers will be delighted to taste some of the finest wines that will be dished up at the Festival. As the official 2011 Wine Partner, Sirromet will showcase its LOVE Series – Classic White and Light Sweet Red as well as its popular Vineyard Selections, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz and its famous NV Vineyard Selection Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir.
Aside from the mouth watering dishes and fine wines, the festival has set up three stages where musicians and bands can perform.
