Business Development Executive
We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Executive to join our Venues team. The position is responsible to generate new business for three conference venues in Brisbane. The successful candidate must be self driven and have minimum three years experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
Source new business leads
Proactively drive and secure direct sales, achieve set KPIs
Telemarketing
Drive marketing projects and campaigns in conjunction with the Manager
Manage existing client database in conjunction with the Event Coordinators
Assist with reactive sales enquiries
Attend industry functions and trade shows
Other sales responsibilities as directed by the manager
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Demonstrate extensive proactive sales experience
Ideally held positions in the conference or hospitality industries
Maintain an existing account portfolio with the assistance of the Event Coordinators
Efficient administration and contact management skills with strong attention to detail
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding commitment to customer service
Build and foster effective working relationships
Delphi experience
A professional attitude at all times
Flexible team player with outstanding personal presentation
