Booking & Check-In

Information about bookings, payments and check-in.

Q: What time is check-in and check-out?

10:00am Check-Out, 2:00pm Check-In

Q: Do you require a security bond upon check-in?

Your Credit Card will be required upon Check-In.

Q: Is after hours check-in available?

Yes, we suggest you advise at the time of booking your estimated arrival time. If it is after hours, reception will put your room key in a night safe for your collection. Our night service will advise your code to access the safe to retrieve your room keys.

Q: Can I have a late check-out?

A late check-out is on request only, we suggest if you require a late check-out after 12pm you book the following evening.

Q: When do I have to pay a deposit?

No deposit is required. We take full payment upon arrival if not already pre-paid.

Q: Can I depart before reception opens?

Yes you can, however please ensure your account has been settled prior to departure.

Q: Is there Internet or WiFi access available?

Yes, each hotel offers complimentary WiFi up to 200mb per day. (If you require more, there is a charge).

Q: Is there car parking available?

Yes, each hotel offers secure undercover parking. 

Q: Is all linen provided?

Yes, all linen including towels is provided.

Q: How often are the rooms serviced?

Servicing varies between hotels, please check booking confirmation and/or with reception.

For Cosmo: Please note that daily servicing is not provided for weekend bookings and for stays of 2, 5 and 7 nights. A daily service can be requested in advance before 13:00, for a charge of AUD $25.

For Dockside: Please note this is a non serviced hotel. A service can be arranged for an additional fee, please contact reception for further details

Q: Do I have to do my own washing and make the bed?

If you receive a service daily your bed will be made. Each hotel offers laundry facilities, therefore no guest washing is undertaken by the hotel.

We do offer a drycleaning service. Please contact hotel reception for further details.

Q: Is the pool heated?

Although Dockside and Hillcrest feature outdoor swimming pools, none of our hotels offer heated pools.

Q: How close is Suncorp Stadium & The Gabba?

COMSO: Suncorp Stadium - 10min walk; Milton City Cat Ferry Terminal - 2min walk; CBD - 6min ferry; Southbank - 10min ferry; Restaurants - on your doorstep.

DOCKSIDE: CBD - 6min by car; Convention Centre - 16min ferry; The Gabba - 6 min drive; Southbank - 10min ferry; Eagle Street - 6min ferry.

HILLCREST: The Gabba - 12min walk; The Mater / Lady Cilento Children's Hospital - 3/5min walk; Convention Centre - 6min drive; CBD - 6min drive; Southbank - 12min walk; Restaurants - 12 min walk.

Q: Are there shops or restaurants nearby?

All three of our properties are within close proximity of restaurant and shopping precincts, with each hotel just minutes away from the CBD via public transport.

Central Dockside and Central Hillcrest both feature onsite restaurants that are open to all guests and the general public. Opening times are as follows:

Fig Tree Bistro - Central Hillcrest, South Brisbane

Open Monday to Friday (Not available on public holidays)

Breakfast: 6.30am - 9am

The Cove Bistro - Central Dockside, Kangaroo Point 


Open Monday - Friday - Continental Buffet Breakfast

6am - 10am

Open Saturday - Sunday - Continental Buffet Breakfast

7am - 12pm

Q: Is there public transport nearby?

Yes, each hotel has ferry or bus within close proximity.

Q: What local attractions are in the area?

CBD, South Bank, Fortitude Valley, GOMA, Museums, Suncorp Stadium & The GABBA just to name a few.

Q: How far away is the race track?

Both Doomben and Eagle Farm Raceway are accessible by the City Cat Ferry or local Taxi.

Q: Where can I buy groceries locally?

Please see reception at each hotel for local supermarket information.
