Betty Kennewell is well known to many Brisbane residents as one of the regular contributors and winners of the “Best Christmas Lights House in the Street competition.”
Betty started buying Christmas decorations in 1992 and spends quite a sum each year on new and replacement decorations.
She entered her first competition in 1996 and won that year, and has won the overall Brisbane Competition twice.
Betty admits she really does it for the kids and loves the expressions on their faces when they see her house all lit up!
Well this year, Betty wanted to have a break from decorating houses, so she has turned her talents to decorating the front lobby at the Central Summit Apartment Hotel where she has created a colourful and vibrant Nativity and Christmas scene for guests and their children.
So even if you are not staying with us at Central Summit over the holiday season, come in and have a look……………it is quite a show!
